Biographic Data
Karen Catuogno is the principal and managing broker at Abbott Properties LLC. She is the Director of Business Brokerage as well as working in the commercial and residential markets. She has a diverse client base. She graduated with a B.S. in Urban Development from the University of Rhode Island, followed by law school in Massachusetts. After more than thirty years in the practice of law in Massachusetts, she decided to focus full time on real estate, then becoming owner of Abbott Properties LLC. Karen works daily with residential, commercial and business brokerage clients as well spending time on business and associate agent training and development.
Karen served as President of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraiser Board of Realtors in 2022 after serving several years on its Board of Directors. She was awarded the 2023 Broker of the Year by RICABOR. She gives back to her community by serving as the Vice-Chair of the Narragansett Historic District Commission. Karen challenges herself with skiing in the winter, sailing beautiful Narragansett Bay in the summer, yoga daily and enjoys entertaining family and friends year-round in her South County home. Karen and her husband Ray are the parents of three accomplished adult children and two amazing grandsons.
